Preliminary Ideas: 

• Pump that draws water through a filter
• Pros: most efficient way to separate algae from water
• Cons: will fill up/ get clogged quickly 
• Combed conveyor belt 
• Pros: scoops macro algae to dump into bin and slows down the clogging of the filter
• Cons: does not scoop microalgae and has unpredictable efficiency
